When should I schedule a Portrait Session?
To make sure I have time to devote to each session, I only schedule a limited number of newborns due each month. If you are expecting a baby and looking for Newborn Portraits, please contact me in your sixth month or earlier to reserve a general appointment around your due date. We will set an official appointment after your baby’s arrival. Newborn sessions are best between 5 and 10 days after birth.
Special Events will be announced and then slots will be filled on first pay first served basis.
How do I schedule a portrait session?
When you’re ready to schedule a portrait session, you may contact Corrie at Thyme of Your Life Photography, through the contact page.
Session fee will be due up front as a non-refundable retainer to hold your appointment. Payable by cash, check or Paypal.
Payment for prints and packages are due at the time the order is placed. Currently Thyme of Your Life Photography accepts cash, check, PayPal.
What if I need to reschedule the session?
If there is an emergency or illness requiring us to reschedule, please notify me as soon as possible. If you cancel on the second appointment, you will forfeit the retainer fee. If Thyme of Your Life Photography has an emergency and needs to reschedule, I will let you know as soon as possible and we can reschedule or you may choose to have the retainer fee refunded.
How long does a portrait session last?
A newborn session can last between 2-4 hours…lots of feedings, soothing and diaper changes. I try not to rush the process to respect the baby as well as Mama.
Milestone sessions are up to an hour and Special Event, Milestone Express and Maternity Portraits are up to a half an hour.
I love to share images of adorable children! That being said, I will only post images online if I have signed parental permission to share. I will respect your wishes in regard to publishing.
Does Thyme of Your Life Photography offer model sessions?
Periodically, I will need a model or two for promotional purposes. If you are interested in being informed when Thyme of Your Life Photography has a model call, make sure you sign up for the “Thymely Update” newsletter and “Like” us on Facebook.
